Your survey will be personally completed by Gordon. Gordon has over 20 years in the industry, with unusually broad experience for a Residential Surveyor. Gordon started his career as a carpenter and joiner before earning his degree in Building Surveying from Northumbria University in Newcastle. He understands buildings not just from a technical and professional perspective, but from the ground up, practically and structurally.
His career has ranged from the investigation and repair of NHBC claims to complex major loss subsidence claims from £100,000 to over a £1m. This gives him a level of expertise in the investigation and repair of structural defects that very few residential surveyors possess. He then went on to lead the national service delivery for a global Insurance Loss Adjuster, managing a large network of Surveyor, Engineers, and support staff including various suppliers.
He has also worked within a prestigious independent practice, serving Londons Residential Super Prime Market, where he was responsible for planned maintenance and multi million pound major works programmes for high profile clients, including The Crown Estate. This included retained surveyor responsibilities for landmark listed buildings in Central London, such as Whitehall Court (pictured above).
Gordon founded Project & Survey in 2023 with a clear focus - delivering RICS Home Surveys to the highest professional standard. We are a small, specialist firm. That is entirely intentional. Every instruction is personal and director-led.
