Gordon founded Project & Survey in 2024 to offer RICS Home Surveys tailored to High-Net-Worth clients. We provide premium, detailed orientated service at competitive fees, made possible by our low-overhead, client focused approach. Our mission is to deliver exceptional value and unrivalled expertise to clients who expect the very best.
With extensive experience in residential surveying in the London Super Prime Market, Gordon has delivered Planned Maintenance Programs, Licence for Alterations and multi-million-pound major works projects for prestigious historical Listed buildings, such as Whitehall Court (pictured above), for clients like The Crown Estate.
His Career also includes significant expertise in insurance work, handling high-value subsidence claims for insurer clients, managing regional and national surveying teams, and leading service delivery as Head of Subsidence for a global loss adjuster.

George Ford BSc MSc CSSW AssocRICS
Senior Surveyor - Chiswick Office
George is an accomplished surveyor with a specialist focus on building pathology and the conservation of historic buildings. With over a decade of experience spanning residential, commercial, and heritage properties, he has become a trusted authority in diagnosing complex defects and guiding clients through sensitive repair and refurbishment projects.
He holds a Distinction in MSc Historic Building Conservation from Kingston University, building on his BSc in Building Surveying and the Environment from Plymouth. This academic foundation, combined with his hands-on experience across hundreds of inspections, underpins his reputation as both a technical expert and a practical problem-solver.
Before joining Project & Survey, George worked with Hutton + Rostron, where he led investigations into damp, basement waterproofing, façades, and timber decay. He provided specialist advice on condensation risk analysis, drying strategies, and damp-shedding details, supporting architects and contractors on major refurbishment projects. His earlier role as Senior Surveyor at Prinsegate Chartered Surveyors saw him deliver RICS Level 3 Building Surveys, train junior surveyors in inspection and pathology, and oversee professional standards within the firm.
Alongside his surveying career, George has long been involved in property investment and management. His hands-on background, from carpentry and decorative works through to working with lime mortars at a 14th-century château in France, gives him a uniquely grounded perspective that clients value.
A passionate traveller and hiker, George has visited over 25 countries, always taking inspiration from the architecture and construction methods he encounters abroad. This global perspective informs his appreciation of building traditions and fuels his commitment to preserving the built environment at home.
With a rare blend of technical expertise, conservation knowledge, and practical experience, George is a key member of our team and a trusted voice in the profession. Clients value his clear, thorough advice and his ability to balance the detail of building science with the realities of repair, refurbishment, and long-term maintenance of buildings.
